2016 Cotes du Rhone 'Equivoque'

Perhaps struggling straight after the 2017 Brune, the nose here is a little reductive and rubbery. The fruit is pure, youthful but a little sterile. Everything is in the right place here, with fine tannins, supple fruit and admirable freshness, but it lacks just a little character. (TP)
