Tasting notes
Black licorice and black truffles. Fresh-herb and lavender undertones. Fresh and tight with very fine tannins. Medium to full body. Linear, focused and long. Still needs a few more years.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is bright, polished and super-refined to the core. Medium in body and gracious in the style of the year, the 2014 possesses remarkable balance. The 2014 is tightly wound and in need of time, but it is exceptionally beautiful and resonant. Beams of salinity extend the finish while adding brightness. This is a terrific debut for the winemaking team in their first full year in charge of the farming and winemaking.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is aging beautifully. Dark, ample and potent, it rushes across the palate with black cherry, plum, chocolate, spice and incense. It is just starting to show the first signs of aromatic development yet retains gorgeous depth and fine balance. The 2014 captures all the linear energy of the year. It is a terrific wine for an estate that had just made a major push toward improving farming and winemaking at the time.
