Drink 0-0, David Schildknecht, Vinous

The aromas here are fascinating and complex: mirabelle plum, musk, white peach, and sweet green herbs. In the mouth, there is a much more intense spiciness than with the Abtsberg Spatlese. While relatively sweet, it packs a decisive load of slate in the finish. The Auslese from Herrenberg was much less convincing. 1 star.
