The 2017 Chablis is exactly what it should be. Precise, lifted and wonderfully appealing, the 2017 is already super-delicious. Bright floral and citrus notes add to the wine's effortless, refined feel.

The 2017 Chablis Village is showing well from bottle, offering up a pretty bouquet of fresh peach, lemon oil, crisp green apple and oyster shell. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and incisive, with racy acids, a good core of fruit and a saline finish. Accessible but classically balanced, this is a fine Chablis that has blossomed in the year since I last tasted it. This example was bottled under Stelvin.
