Tasting notes
Bright transparent pillarbox red. Very sweet red-fruit candy. Not enough grunt for me. Pretty drying on the end. (JR)

Fresh, direct nose with lots of correct fruit and the right structure. It's easy to see why this is more expensive than lesser appellations. Well balanced. But a tad severe on the end. (JR)
Quite late-picked nose and then tight palate. (JR)
Medium bright red. Very reduced nose shows a distinctly syrupy quality to its candied red fruit aromas. Plusher and sweeter than the Vosne-Romanée Champs Perdrix, offering strong berry fruit lifted on the end by a slight peppery quality. Finishes with substantial but plush tannins and nice length. Fat more than deep, this wine will offer considerable early appeal.
