RS 231.3 g/l, TA 4.8 g/l. Sugar-driven palate with black-tea aromas and honey and chocolate. Lots of sugary satisfaction. (RH)

Savoury edge to this sweet wine. Thick and very sweet – bit of brown-sugar syrup here. Just a bit too sweet. (JR)

RS 241 g/l. Much darker than the Pfeiffer Topaque. Browny gold. Gorgeous aroma of spiced, reduced apricot with a touch of Seville orange. But somehow floral too. Creamy, viscous and palate-covering. Deep but relatively gentle and just enough freshness to balance. Very long. (JH)

Rather old wood? Then exotic almond liqueur notes. Very sweet. Quite concentrated. Chewy finish with some alcohol. (JR)
