Score 93-96/100 · Drink 2026-2046, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2018
Positively stunning in the glass, the 2016 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is dense, powerful and explosive. A wine of power and richness, the Charmes possesses notable texture and resonance from start to finish. Although naturally quite embryonic, the 2016 is endowed with striking richness and purity in its fruit. It is also one of the best young wines I have ever tasted at Remoissenet.
