The nose has ginger, lime, orange peel oils, kumquat, candied lemon, oak shavings, nutmeg, and hints of incense, with strengthening mizunara notes amid a cloud of aromatic spices. It’s full-bodied, well-rounded, and creamy on the palate, with a maze of different flavors, from citrus zest and delicate spices to pepperiness, with dried apple, maltiness, and cinnamon. The glossy, polished finish has stewed fruit, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
