60-year-old vines. Fermented and aged in cement. Deep cherry red. Intense in both fruit and leafy graphite. Concentrated essence of Cabernet Franc. Vibrant in dark-red fruit. Firmly structured but fully ripe tannins that are starting to melt. Chewy, savoury finish, almost charry in the mineral character even if there is no oak. Great balance between vibrant fruit and more mineral savour. (JH)
