70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah, 5% Grenache. 14 months in oak, 33% new. Juicy combination of black and red fruit on the nose. Floury tannins, good density on the mid palate and plenty of tannin too. Long, savoury, dry finish. (RH)

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah, 5% Grenache and average yields of just 20 hl/ha apparently. Hand picked. Bright crimson. Punchy, direct and aromatic though still youthful. Sweet palate entry and with an interesting note of blue cheese(!). Very fine tannins insist on the finish. Wears its alcohol lightly. Fine and fresh. Keep. Rather delicate. (JR)
