Tasting notes
Enjoyable to retaste the first vintage of Adrianna, now at 13 years old; with an emphasis on smoky floral notes, grilled violets, with a fresh uplift through the palate. Captures the vivid brightness of the wine, with raspberry, cola, iris and peony florals, and its ageing ability. Alejandro Vigil winemaker.

Located at 1,450m, from a 1.4ha limestone plot, particularly rich in microorganisms, this is a place where phenolic ripenness can take a little longer to achieve, and the complexity builds as a result. Smooth tannins that are angular but finely tuned, caressing and finessed as they open and soften. Black cherry, cigar box and spice gives a ton of Malbec character. No rush to drink, but this is already open and can be enjoyed straight away. An extremely dry year, meaning yields were about 10% less than usual, with some frost early in the season.
