Tasting notes
A bright and pretty wine with a walnut-shell, stone and blackberry character. Medium body, linear fruit and polished tannins. Very pretty. Mar 2017, www.jamessuckling.com

Ripe cherry and plum sauce flavors glide along, with a flash of balsam wood on the finish. A touch languid, but the fruit is pretty. Apr 2017, James Molesworth, www.winespectator.com
Deep crimson. Sweet, broad, spicy nose. Cheerful, straightforward, juicy Pomerol that presented itself as an early drinker but then a mass of tannins crept in on the end. Apr 2017, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2025-2040
The 2016 Lagrange (Pomerol) is plump, juicy and super-expressive. Medium in body, with terrific aromatic complexity and generous, pliant fruit, the 2016 captures the best qualities of the vintage. Savory herbs, anise, tobacco and a host of dark red berry notes flesh out in this very pretty, succulent Pomerol. The 2016 finishes with lovely freshness that invites a second taste.
