Vivid red. High-toned, mineral-accented scents of red berries, cola and rose pastille, plus a hint of spicecake that emerges as the wine opens up. Silky, sharply focused raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show very good energy, picking up a touch of gaminess on the back half. Delivers a solid punch of flavors but comes off lithe, showing no rough edges. Finishes juicy, subtly smoky and very long, displaying lingering red fruit and succulent herb nuances and sneaky tannins.
