Malvasia grapes grown at the famous Faja dos Padres vineyard at Cabo Girão. Especially fine vintage. Greenish walnut skin. Lean and nutty on the nose with a slight spirit overlay. Alcohol present on the palate too but fabulously tangy and intense on the finish. Bitterly fresh aftertaste cuts through all that sugar. (JH)
