Good bright red. Pungent crushed-rock minerality lifts the aromas of wild red fruits and black cherry. Dense, sappy and very deep, with explosive black cherry, mineral, wild herb and spice flavors saturating the entire mouth and vibrating on the very long, perfumed aftertaste. Conveys a thickness of texture that comes from tiny grapes but without any impression of weight. Wonderfully urgent, sappy and long on the compellingly sweet finish. I could drink a bottle right now, but this wine really deserves a decade in the cellar.

The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées is a model of understated elegance. Sweet red berries, crushed flowers, mint and orange peel are all woven together beautifully in this highly expressive Chambolle. The Fuées looks to have considerable early appeal, certainly more so than many of the domaine's other 2010s.

Good bright, dark red. Pungent aromas of blueberry, blackberry, juniper and crushed rock. High-pitched and extremely primary, combining wonderful density with a weightless character. Pure energy in the mouth. Finishes with substantial tannins and outstanding persistence. This very refined premier cru needs time to absorb its oak, but it's exactly the style of wine that will reward 10 to 15 years of cellaring.
