Tasting notes
Drink 2015, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières from François Mikulski has a ripe, honeyed and slightly overdone bouquet that is missing the finesse and precision of Bouchard Père’ own Genevrières. The palate is fresh on the entry with a seam of citrus lemon and spice, although it feels conservative and lacking some breeding towards the finish - foursquare and lacking length. This is another perplexing showing of Mikulski's 2012s that seem to be so unsettled in bottle.
