Pale ruby. Interesting, vivacious evolution on the nose. Still amazingly lively despite the age and the vintage's reputation for mildness. Long and rich with vivacity and freshness on the end. I'm glad I bought a case of this back in 2004. Still quite rich. (JR)

Pale garnet. Gamey aromas and very transparent and fresh. Quite delicate but haunting and very Chambolle. Charming and nuanced with a long, dry (but not drying) finish. Really very charming and not falling off any perch. Quite vivacious really. Vindication of the charm of the 2002 vintage. (JR)
Pale ruby. Very pale broad rim. Lightly charred nose with the fruit fading fast. Tannins all gone and acidity in evidence rather than fruit and concentration. (JR)
Jewelly sweet fruit with the tannins well in retreat now. Really quite rich but very satisfying. Some almost burly notes but it seems as though this is just the right time to start drinking this. powerful and long. (JR)
