Tasting notes
Bright medium red. Complex nose melds blackberry, smoked meat and mint. A step up in material and flesh from the village wines, offering a lovely silky richness for the vintage and an impression of fullness without any weight. Less open today than the Proces but offers noteworthy lift and clarity. This very fresh wine calls for at least a few years of patience.

A notably fresh and pure dark pinot fruit nose leads to detailed and nervous flavors that evidence a pungent sense of minerality and superb finishing focus and detail. The flavors are precise, intense, serious and exceptionally long. This is not a big wine but the transparency and harmony of expression are definitely distinctive.
Good full red. Rather inexpressive nose hints at spicy, resiny oak. Then supple and deep, with good material and length. But very aromatically unevolved following a late end to the malolactic fermentation. Not yet displaying much sweetness, but this is serious and persistent.
