2009 Meursault Blagny

Creamy and very pure, inviting, just a slight savoury oak note. Much more oaky on the palate – pretty overwhelming at the moment. There’s freshness too and depth but the oak is pretty dominant just now – more than I would expect even at this stage, hence the minus. (JH)
