Tasted blind. Mid crimson. Round fruit to begin with and then as though it had been tightened on a string. A bit drying on the end. (JR)

Colour blackish ruby but not that intense. If someone told me this was a Chilean Cabernet I would have believed them. Rather mean greenness on the palate. Very austere. (I much preferred the grand vin.) (JR)
