Sweet and slightly medicinal. Very chewy end but with lively fruit in the middle. Controversial wine! Perhaps because of stems? (JR)

Light simple crimson. Light sweet attractive nose. Firm spine running through it with still quite marked tannins. A little more severe than the Senard version. Should get there eventually. Very fresh, brisk finish. (JR)

Pale red. Not much nose and a little severe and chewy. Fruitless on the palate. I do think this asks too much of the buyer. It may come right, but it’s almost impossible to see how at the point. (JR)
