Score 18.5/20 · Drink 1965-2015, Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2013
Recorked in 2000, from the best vintage of the war years. Dark crimson. Firm, concentrated, sweet and definitely different from the Médocs just served (Mouton 1959 and Cos 1945). Reverberant. This doesn't seem sparkling fresh. Softer than some La Missions, the wine became sweet and rather gentle in the glass. Long. Clean. (JR)
