Looks quite old. Fresher than most 2003s with more interest on the nose with some quite good quality oak. But quite awkward and jagged. Not harmonious. Fragrant but a little bit tart and very chewy on the end. (JR)

Open fruity nose with a hint of spice. Some nice mellow soft tannins. Gentle structure. Not very strong wine, pretty easy with slightly drying tannins. (VD)
Mid healthy crimson. Sweet, very ripe nose. Very round, extraordinarily soft tannins. Quite different from most 2003s. Good restaurant drink for the short term. (JR)
Mid crimson with weak rim. Fragrant, aromatic. Winning nose. A certain sweetness and then quite gentle. Very slightly underripe tannins on the finish make this wine a bit inkier than one would like but a good effort. Not the densest example but not forced. Just the finish is a little physically uncomfortable. Macerated black fruits with some quite obvious oak. Very different from Listrac model, though one can easily see why this please-all style has been adopted. Sweet. (JR)
