Tasting notes
Tasted on three separate occasions, this wine did not perform nearly as well as it had in its prime. An angular, light-bodied, mineral-scented wine came across as austere and spartan, lacking fruit, glycerin, and flesh. Perhaps I caught it in an awkward stage? Anticipated maturity: Now-2012. Last tasted, 3/98.

Tasted on three separate occasions in November, this wine did not perform nearly as well as it had in the spring. An angular, light-bodied, mineral-scented wine came across as austere and spartan, lacking fruit, glycerin, and flesh. Perhaps I caught it in an awkward stage since it performed far better earlier in the year. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2012.
