Very sweet, slightly oily nose. Romeo believes his white will outlast all his reds. 48% Viura, 32% Malvasia, plus 70-year-old Garnacha Blanco. San Vicente. Complex nose that opens out on to a lovely blossomy rich palate with structure. Really interesting! More floral than the old Murrieta style. Creamy. Long. Tense, Quinine. Some of the most intriguing flavours I have encountered in a long time. Wonderful fan of flavours on the finish. (JR)
