Score 98/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
(the "lightest" Zind-Humbrecht SGN from this vintage, with 12.2% alcohol and 168 gram of sugar) Spectacularly pure botrytis aromas of pineapple, dried apricot and honey, lifted by floral high tones. Superripe but superfresh, with great purity of fruit flavors and no sign of botrytis bitterness. Wonderfully racy SGN showcasing the impeccable noble rot of the year. This will last forever but is remarkably easy to drink now. Endless, vibrant, flinty finish.
