2000 Le Crock

Really very sweet fruit on the nose. Rich and velvet. Very 2000. Just at the end the tannins seem a little hard. Due to higher yields – fruit was ripe but not so the tannins. They were then on max yields of 57 hl/ha, in 2001 down to 50 by green harvest. Chocolatey up-front but harder finish. (JH)
