FINE+RARE, Jan 2018
Pale in the glass, delicate, with a hint of garnet at the rim. Rose-petal and forest floor on the nose then a meaty spiciness that could only be aged red Burgundy. Solid and well-proportioned on the palate; good fruit, firm acidity and silky tannins that frame the long finish. Very good.

Domaine Potinet-Ampeau
Based in Monthélie, Domaine Potinet-Ampeau is one of few producers that do not sell their wines en primeur. Instead, like Domaine Leroy, they release wines only when deemed ready to drink.
