Score 18/20 · Drink 2003-2025, Jancis Robinson MW, May 2003
Full. Almost oily. Green-gold. Vegetal/leafy nose with distinct botrytis character (although apparently there were some shrivelled berries in this wine too). Quite evolved and open. According to Manfred Prüm, the ripeness level of this wine is not that much greater than that of his 2001 Spätlesen. (JR)
