RS 137 g/l, TA 10.8 g/l. Fresh apricot on the nose. Tangy and chewy on the palate – there’s a strong gummy viscosity to it. Caramel, demerara, wonderful citric freshness on the finish. (RH)

Although the American importer does not currently offer this wine, it too good (and I got to taste far too few wines at this address!) to omit. Aromas of black tea, dried apricot, pungent white pepper and a tangy, briny component. Firmer and more obviously dense than the "red label," this is still very creamy and rich in the mouth. Flavors of peach and apricot but also a carnal note reminiscent of Jurançon. Just as long as the above and even more subtle and interesting in its meaty-minerally nuances.
