Drink 0-0, David Schildknecht, Vinous
Deep amber in color, this smells smoky and dusty, with a faint note of horseradish, all signaling aggressive botrytization. Peach preserves laced with lemon fill the palate. The sweetness is checked by the enormous acids and obviously high extract. The smoke, resins and tart citrus in the finish here suggest a fresh young Tokaji. This most intriguing wine will go its own, possibly wonderful way.
