Deep purplish crimson with a pale rim. Really toasty and satisfying. A little bit drying on the finish. But very fresh and zappy. A little raw on the nose but with lovely flesh on the palate. Really pretty good and not one of the most forced. (JR)

Ripe black fruits and a smidgin of rather raw oak on the nose. Oak dominates the rather formless fruit here. Pleasant enough but there is more heat than flavour. Drying finish. (JR)
