Tasting notes
Drink 0-0, David Schildknecht, Vinous, Jan 2005

A whiff of smoke and then a gust of black fruit essences. Polished in feel, liqueur-like in fruit presentation, and impressively viscous on the palate, yet levitated by fine, penetrating acids. Peach and red berry concentrate drenched in lemon and honey in the finish. There is a Brucke TBA as well this year, but it was too unfinished to taste at the time I visited. Potential 2 stars.

Rich and smoky. Broad, quite developed nose. Then massive residual sugar on the palate. Tingle. Green ferns on the nose. Truly exciting. Elderflower syrup. Great delicacy. Unusual. (JR)
