Score 17/20 · Drink 2014-2018, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Jan 2012
Riper, more opulent style than the Blagny – has a touch of Viognier opulence to it. Round and soft, dry and lengthy. Missing the classic Meursualt minerality, but has the concentration to develop it with time. (RH)

About the producer

Louis Latour
The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
