Tasting notes
(opened from personal storage). A blend of both primary and the initial hints of second aromas display plenty of spice and complexity that leads to mellowing but still reasonably firm medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a strikingly long and deep finish. This is a beautiful wine and I really like the perfumed quality of the nose and overall, the elegance and refinement of a classic RSV is on parade. In terms of maturity, this could certainly be enjoyed now as the structure is indeed mellowing but for my taste, it could benefit from another 3 to 5 years of cellar time. In a word, excellent juice. Tasted thrice recently with consistent impressions.

Red-ruby. Perfumed, nuanced nose combines red berry liqueur, new oak, leather and subtle earth tones. Broad, rich and mouthfilling; complex mineral, earth and coffee notes. Perhaps most impressive today on the finish, which features lush, spreading tannins and terrific persistence.
