Slightly raw blackcurrants on the nose, and lots of acidity on the palate. This could taste pretty thin... (JR)

Deep crimson. Very rich – almost right bank kerpow on the nose – so different from the old style Cissac that was as tough as old boots in youth! Even a hint of chocolate! Lively fruit on the palate – quite dancing – but with minerally fine tannins underneath to remind one of Cissac’s terroir. Very respectable and bracing. (JR)
