Tasting notes
Bright medium red. Sexy, very pure aromas of raspberry, flowers and spices, lifted by a whiff of citrus peel. Sweet, spicy and very intense; really saturates the palate with savory, vibrant berry, floral and mineral flavors. This textbook village offering finishes with terrific persistence.

The 2010 Vosne-Romanée(from tank) is striking. It reflects tons of village character in its dark fruit along with firm tannins that will require a year or two to settle down. High-toned floral, minty notes resonate on the finish. The parcels in the 2010 Vosne are La Colombière, Champs Goudins, Chalandins and Croix Blanche. Vines in Pre de la Folie that are usually used for the Vosne were destroyed by hail in 2009. Those vines will begin producing fruit again in 2013, but will likely first be used for the Bourgogne until the vines have some age.
Smoky, vanilla-edged cherries. Scented mid palate, refreshing and lively but also dense. Tannins are fine but present. (JH)
Good bright deep red. Very pure, pungent aromas of raspberry, minerals, crushed stone and cinnamon. Dense, pure and high-toned, with a firm spine of acidity giving this very dry wine an impression of citrus peel on the long finish. Leaves an exhilarating scent of pomegranate behind in the empty glass.
