Score 17/20 · Drink 2014-2017, Jancis Robinson MW, May 2014
Dark crimson. Bitter cherries and the most inspiring rendition of this grape variety – tangy, not a trace of obvious oak (so different from the Barbera mainstream), so racy and yet with real depth. Long. Slightly spritz but utterly convincing. Enjy this while it has youthful fruit; no point in letting it fade. (JR)
