Pale and slightly grey-looking. Some oak and rather obviously added sweetness (from oak?) Not fine. An uncomfortable drink. (JR)

Very, very deep blackish crimson. Good, lively scent. Full, round, deep flavoured. A very good effort from this revived property. Satin texture though dry at the end. (JR)

Very healthy deep crimson. Extremely ripe and full on the nose. Voluptuous. A delicious early drink. Not to be taken too seriously but relished for providing such attractive drinking. (JR)
