After selling extremely well earlier in the summer and with the good weather hopefully here to stay, the 2015 Triennes Rosé is well worth a second look.
We have been big advocates of the Triennes ever since we tasted a bottle in the office this Spring, and now it seems that we are not alone. A recent article on the Robb Report named it one of the Top 11 Essential Wines for Summer - an impressive feat given than every other recommended wine in the report is many times the price of the Triennes. At a fraction over GBP 8 a bottle IB, this is quite possibly one of the best value wines of the year.
The Triennes comes from an estate set up by Burgundian legends Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and is organically farmed from vineyards hand-selected for their coolness and finesse.
This is classic Provence; lifting acidity and bright red fruit, this vibrant and refreshing rosé is nothing short of an essential buy for summer.
