Datafeed

Datafeeds are the most efficient way for us to collect supplier's product lists. A datafeed is a structured, web-based document. You can easily create one to list your current, in-stock wine inventory.

Step 1: Create a web page

Create a web page (.csv), with a URL such as:

  • https://www.mydomaine.com/datafeed.csv

Please do not add password protection.

Step 2: Add inventory

Add your in-stock inventory for each product:

Wines, Spirits & Beers

  • Vintage

    • Year in numbers or NV for Non Vintage.

  • Name (max. 160 chars)

  • Producer (max. 160 chars)

  • Bottle Size (cl) - number

    • The size of the bottle in cl, for example: 37.5, 75, 150, 2000

    • Use a period to show decimal point e.g. 37.5

  • Unit Size - number

    • For example:

      • 12 Bottles in an OWC or OCC of 12 would be “12”

      • Loose Bottles would be “1” as unit size

      • 6 Bottles in an OWC or OCC of 12 would be “1” as considered as Loose Bottles

  • Duty Paid

    • Assumed all stock coming from outside the UK is In Bond (IB) with required customs paperwork. If UK based, please mark as In Bond (IB) or Duty Paid (DP).

    • Available options:

      • DP

      • IB

  • Unit Price - number

    • Show total price to 2 decimal places. Use a period to show decimal point e.g. 12.34. 

    • If selling a case, show the case price.

    • Do not use: per-bottle price when selling a case as we will will calculate this.

    • For example, you have 15 bottles of this wine, 1 case of 12Bts and 3 loose bottles to sell at €120 per bottle.

  • Currency

    • The currency in which Price is given

    • Available options:

      • GBP

      • EUR

      • HKD

      • USD

      • JPY

      • CNY

      • CHF

  • Quantity - number

    • Use total number of units held in stock.

  • Provenance (optional)

    • Available options:

      • Ex-domaine

      • Ex-estate

      • Ex-château

      • Ex-bodega

      • Auction

      • Private cellar

  • Label condition (optional)

    • The Label Condition field can hold multiple conditions, separated with "," character

    • Example: "Torn label,Bin-soiled label"

    • Available options:

      • Bin-soiled label

      • Faded label

      • Stained label

      • Loose label

      • Missing label

      • Nicked label

      • Scuffed label

      • Tattered label

      • Torn label

      • Writing on label

      • Wrinkled label

      • Re-labelled

  • Packaging condition (optional)

    • Available options:

      • Original packaging, damaged

  • Capsule condition (optional)

    • Available options:

      • Damaged

      • Torn foil

      • Missing capsule

      • Re-capsuled

  • Closure condition (optional)

    • Available options:

      • Re-corked

  • Import label (optional)

    • Available options:

      • A country name, like: United Kingdom / China / United States of America / etc.

  • Estimated availability (optional)

    • Estimated Availability Date for Collection in Date format: DD/MM/YYYY, e.g.: 27/09/2021

  • Note (optional) (max. 160 chars)

    • Additional information about the listing.

Step 3: Send us your datafeed

Send your datafeed URL to us, then we can process it automatically!

CSV

  • Use UTF-8 with comma( , ) delimiters

  • The first line is the header, and defines the field names (Product, Note, Price, etc.)

  • Use one line per product

  • Terminate lines with either a newline or carriage return. Do not insert newlines, carriage returns, HTML tags, tabs or escape sequences within any of the fields.
