New South Wales Wines

Australia NSW.jpg

New South Wales is a small but densely populated region in the south west of Australia" style="text-align: center;">Australia. Perhaps the best NSW wine comes from the oldest wine-producing area in the country, Hunter Valley, founded by James Busby in the 1820s and famous for its outstanding Semillon wines by Tyrell and others. Another area, Canberra, particularly known for its boutique wineries such as Clonakilla, produces elegant Shiraz varieties in the style of the Rhone Valley.
