Rheinhessen Wines

Germany Rheinhessen.jpg

Rheinhessen lies on the west bank of the Rhine and is Germany’s largest producer of wine by volume, with a viticultural history spanning centuries. The main grapes planted are Muller-Thurgau and Riesling. The region has latterly produced for the most part dry white wines, with some of the best Rheinhessen wines coming from Weingut Keller. Top vintages include 2009, 2007 and 2005.
