A mystery man has helped former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson enjoy the ultimate birthday drink.

Pamela was celebrating her 44th birthday at Chateau nightclub in the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, last week, before being presented with a $195,500 (£119,000) bottle of Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades.

It is not known exactly who made Pamela's birthday one to remember with the extravagant gift, but one onlooker said that the star was stunned by the appearance of the 30-litre bottle, a size named Midas by the Champagne estate.

"Pammy was gobsmacked. It was the equivalent of 40 regular-sized bottles. It was bigger than her..." the nightclub guest told The Daily Mirror.

Each Midas bottle of Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades is handmade and carries pewter labels, while being presented in a velvet-lined case.

Pamela will soon return to UK television screens to take part in Channel 5's re-launch of Celebrity Big Brother.
