Chateau Lafite and Chateau Mouton Rothschild will be tasted, along with other examples of 2007 Bordeaux, at a London event in November.
London is set to host one of the world's largest retrospective tastings of fine Bordeaux on November 9th.
All the finest classed Bordeaux estates will be represented at the event, which will focus on the region's 2007 vintage, the Drinks Business reports.
Guests will be able to try Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Chateau Mouton Rothschild and Chateau Latour, as well as Grands Crus from Saurternes and Barsac.
Organised by the Institute of Masters of Wine, the tasting provides wine enthusiasts with the chance to reappraise the region's 2007s, which, by the time they were released, were overshadowed by the 2009s.
"This event remains an outstanding opportunity to taste and compare the top wines of Bordeaux and re-assess the vintage after two years in bottle," said Mark Bingley MW, chairman of the institute's events committee.
After outstanding vintages in 2009 and 2010, growers in Bordeaux are predicting a return to a more modest year in 2011.
