Food and wine lovers taking a trip on the Disney Cruise Line can now enjoy film-inspired fine dining on their journeys.
The cruise operator has launched its first ever premier dining option, featuring fine wine accompaniments including Taittinger Champagne and even 1947 Chateau Cheval Blanc.
Travellers choosing the exclusive restaurant dining option gain exclusive access to Remy's Vault - a collection of over 200 special regional French wines from different vintages.
In order to get their hands on a much-coveted 1947 Chateau Cheval Blanc, diners will have to part with more than a few pennies: a single bottle will set them back around $25,000 (£15,600).
In a post on the Disney Parks Blog, Disney Parks food writer Pam Brandon added: "For big spenders, after-dinner libations include Remy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask, one of the most sought-after cognacs for connoisseurs, aged in centuries-old casks and served from an elegant Baccarat crystal decanter.
"We simply couldn't imagine another sip."
Bordeaux chateaux such as Cheval Blanc and Lafite Rothschild have seen their produce remain largely immune to the impact of the recession and economic downturn that have plagued markets over the last few years.
Many analysts have taken this as a sign that fine wine remains a solid investment, particularly in light of the growing popularity of the commodity in emerging markets such as China.
