Musician Chris De Burgh is £345,000 richer after selling some fine and rare Bordeaux wines from his private cellar.
The singer recently decided that he was storing wines he felt were too exquisite to drink, so decided to sell them via Sotheby's auction house.
A total of 320 bottles and 84 magnums were put up for auction by the star, including a 62-magnum vertical of Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
This sold for £155,250, while a case of 1945 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, which included the original straw bedding, achieved £12,650.
De Burgh said after the sale that he was "thrilled" at the outcome and was pleased that the wines were going to good homes.
"I'd love to get in touch with whoever bought the Mouton collection to see if they gain as much pleasure as I did from collecting it," he added.
De Burgh is not the only celebrity to have taken advantage of high values for Bordeaux in recent months.
Andrew Lloyd Webber raised £3.5 million by selling wines from his private collection at a sale in January.
