Champagne Lanson is appealing for information after a container full of fine wine was stolen from a haulier.
Varying quantities of Lanson Black Label Brut NV and Lanson Rose, along with some 1999 Lanson Gold Label were taken during the robbery, according to Harpers Wine and Spirit Trades Review.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Thursday (December 16th) morning, in Essex, the publication notes.
All the champagne bottles taken were standard size, and Champagne Lanson is urging anyone approached about the stolen stock to contact their local police authority to help with the investigation.
Champagne Lanson is not the only firm to have been a victim of fine wine theft recently.
The Clifton Journal noted last week that The Manhattan Wine Company has alleged that an $8,500 (£5,492) bottle of 1993 Domaine de la Romanee Conti was taken from a New York basement storage facility between November 26th and December 6th.
