Champagne Gosset has launched a new cuvee to complement its range of vintage blends, joining the Grande Reserve, Grande Rose and Grand Millesime.
The Grand Blanc de Blancs is composed of Chardonnay from 15 villages and is aged for five years, to be released in the UK sometime in autumn.
Philippe Manfredini, international director of Champagne Gosset, said the blend is "the very essence of Champagne".
"Full of complexity and aromas, it demonstrates perfectly the blending skills of our cellar master and is an exceptional cuvee," he said.
"More than a Grand Blanc de Blancs, this is a Grand Gosset Champagne."
Meanwhile, Harper's Wine and Spirit reports that Lanson International has released the 1999 vintage of its Noble Cuvee Blanc de Blancs.
Produced in a non-malolactic style and also aged for a minimum of five years, the blend has been selected from the Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Oger Grands Cru.
