Brighton to get exclusive champagne bar
Lovers of Bollinger, Krug and Cristal champagne living in Brighton will soon be able to wind down the evenings in an exclusive new wine bar.
Catering firm Searcys is set to open a new bar in the city in time for Valentine's Day 2011, reports the Argus.
In addition to being stocked with fine champagnes from the French region's renowned vineyards, the bar will also feature locally produced wines, although Searcys has not yet revealed where the new venue will be located in the city, according to the newspaper.
This news comes after it emerged that family holiday company Butlins will be stocking fine wines at its resorts.
The Fine But Fun wines list has been created by a leading sommelier and includes Chateau Talbot 2004 and Krug Grand Cuvee champagne.
Butlins managing director Richard Bates said that customers' tastes are changing, adding that the "Fine Wine List simply reflects that".
